Bruce Bendell, CPA/PFS – Managing Member

At Transitions Wealth Management …Bruce is team champion for Transitions Wealth Management as well as our affiliated accounting firm The Wenner Group, LLC ensuring that our business philosophy is consistently translated across both entities through partner-level strategic planning. His favorite activity is applying his seasoned background in tax, accounting, business consulting and personal financial planning to guide Transition’s clients through our deep, five-step wealth management process.

Before that …
Bruce initiated his career within Deloitte and Touche’s audit department. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and is a Certified Public Accountant with a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation in the state of Colorado.

At home …
Bruce is active in a number of community organizations, including Shalom Park, a provider of professional healthcare services designed specifically, though not exclusively, for seniors. He co-founded and is “Chief Bicycle Pump” for the grassroots organization Wish for Wheels, bringing new bicycles and helmets to children in low income communities. He enjoys tennis, skiing, fly fishing, bike riding, family time … and finishing each day with ice cream (preferably Carvel).

Michael Simmons, CFP® – Director of Financial Planning
Michael rounds out the Transitions client experience by dedicating the majority of his time to fully understanding individual clients’ financial planning and wealth-related needs, drawing upon his own expertise as well as specialized alliances to ensure that those needs are being met.

Before that …
Michael has been a financial advisor since 1997. He joined Transitions in 2007 after gaining experience at commercial banking/brokerage firms such as Morgan Stanley, Charles Schwab and Bank of the West. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) practitioner, with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Freed-Hardeman University. Michael is a member of Financial Planning Association (FPA), Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable (CPGR), Estate Planning Council of Southeast Denver, and the Lone Tree Chamber of Commerce.

At home …
He enjoys spending time with his daughter, and playing tennis. He also has a soft spot for his home state of Kentucky and especially the University of Kentucky athletics. Go Big Blue! 
Michelle Sandt-Wade, CFP® – Wealth Manager  
Michelle adds experience in financial services to the Transitions team through a comprehensive understanding of wealth management.  Her desire to stay ahead of the curve in the ever changing estate planning and wealth preservation area add depth to our team.  She actively engages professionals in law, insurance, and investing to make sure she is able to field questions and help our clients with planning issues they have throughout their life transitions.

Michelle has been in financial services since graduating from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins with a degree in Finance in 1991. She earned her Certified Financial Planner designation in 1998 then focused on business and estate planning. She is an active volunteer in her church and daughters' school, as well as a mentor to high school and college students.  

At home …
She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. They enjoy travel, playing games, and entertaining family and friends over a home cooked meal. Golf is the top sport on the list followed by reading historical fiction.
Joseph W. Brady, CFP® Candidate – Wealth Manager  
With a passion to create freedom for our clients using comprehensive financial planning, Joseph's industry and consulting experience - complimented by his love to develop and maintain lasting relationships - provide a platform to maximize value for our clients. Joseph leverages his professional alliances in championing our clients personal and financial goals. He aims to provide education, accountability, organization, objectivity, proactivity and partnership with each client in our family.

Before that …
Joseph began his journey in the Financial Industry in 2009. He came on board at Transitions in 2018 after developing knowledge and gaining experience as a small business development consultant, as well as at large firms in the industry like, New York life, Charles Schwab and Fidelity Investments. Joseph is a CFP Candidate and on track to earn his Certified Financial Planner designation. Joseph is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).  

At home …
Joe loves spending time with his wonderful wife, whether it is spending time outdoors (hiking, biking, boating, skiing), watching sports, travelling to new places or hosting friends and family for delicious food. Joe is also actively involved within his church and community.
Charles B. Wetmore – Servicing Advisor
Formerly with Charles Schwab, Charles joined the team in 2017. As a Servicing Advisor, he provides support to our advisors and of course, to all of our clients. Charles is currently working on earning his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
Before that …
Charles completed his undergraduate education in his home state of California where he attended University of California, Davis and received a bachelor’s of art degree in Economics. Upon graduating, Charles moved to Colorado and began his professional experience working in the financial industry in the Denver Metro area.
At home …
Charles has a passion for traveling and outdoor activities such rock climbing, skiing, and running. He also enjoys watching soccer and football!

Chandra Kester – Operations Specialist
Chandra joined the team in 2016. As one of our two Operations Specialists, she provides support to our advisors and of course, to all of our clients.

Chandra comes to us with more than twenty years of strong customer service skills and a desire to provide an excellent client experience.
At home …
Chandra has lived most of her life in Colorado and is always seeking new travel adventures to embark upon. She has worked in Antarctica and ventured to New Zealand and Australia. She also enjoys spending time with her family and the new addition of Fiona (a black lab).

Gary Saltzman, CPA/PFS – Member
Gary joined the firm in 1973, after graduating from the University of Colorado. He concentrates on small business, taxation, homeowner association activities, tax, retirement and estate planning.

At home…
Gary likes to intersperse travel adventures, with time spent with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoys community service, particularly with B'nai B’rith International, where he serves as chairman of the international executive committee.
Richard “Rick” Negreann, CPA/PFS – Member
Rick joined the firm in 1982. He specializes in accounting, income tax planning and tax preparation for corporations, partnerships and individuals in the medical profession, restaurants, retailing and manufacturing.

At home…
Rick’s interests include biking, running, hiking, bowling and attending Rockies games.
